Wrap Around is a participant led, community-based initiative focused on providing personal and professional supports to those seeking to improve their quality of life by helping address social concerns and challenges presented by substance misuse. Client Liaisons collaborate with Program Managers in the social well-being portfolio to address urgent matters and reduce over-lap of services.

DETOX/TREATMENT (INTERVENTION)

Detox/Treatment (Intervention): Many detox's and treatment centres are self-referral meaning you do not need an agency worker to refer you but private funded and NNADAP funded treatment centre's require an agency referral. Agency referred services are done in-person at the Spirit Healing Lodge (Tsuut'ina Healthy Living). An intake will be done and a file will be created if the person wishes to access services from the Healthy Living Program. TTHL can refer clients to 1 of 5 detox centres located in Alberta, each detox centre has its own intake process. There are many treatment options to choose from based on who funds them and each treatment centre has different intake process. Alberta Health Services (AHS), the National Native Alcohol, and Drug Abuse Program (NNADAP) funding are available to all community nation and non-nation members. Private Treatment options are available through a policy process and available to Tsuut'ina Nation members only. Private treatment funding is available for adults whom aged out of CFS Care and under the age of 26 years old. Jordan's Principle is for mother's and children at risk of going into CFS care.
